Florida Pediatric Associates, LLC.
Jill Vought is the owner of Communication Corner and More! Inc. She was hired by Florida Pediatric Associates (FPA), an elite group of physicians and specialists who provide high quality, medical and surgical care throughout Florida. She joined FPA in 2015 after receiving an invitation from a highly respected Ear Nose and Throat Specialist who we’ve worked with over the years. Our Speech-Language Pathology services are now part of this growing network of pediatric physicians. We are the only therapy sub-specialty within FPA, selected by other members because of our knowledge, skills, and proven ability to serve patients with the highest standard.
Speech Therapy
Speech and Language Pathologists offer the highest level of individualized articulation, swallowing, language, cognitive, feeding, voice and social communication services. A strong literacy-based instruction (see Tutoring) is used to facilitate organization, and written language skills.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy facilitates fine motor skills, gross motor skills, self-care, and sensory integration skills to help achieve independent functioning in everyday life. Building strength in fine motor skills is essential to perform things such as writing/cutting.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapists are dedicated to improving and restoring physical skills by strengthening those areas to increase mobility, balance and flexibility. They work with difficulties involving gross motor function in the major muscle groups.
